Martina Läger studied European Economics at the Otto-Friedrich-University in Bamberg and at the ESC Bretagne Brest in France (1997-2002).

A long-term internship with Arthur Andersen in Munich, Strasbourg and St. Charles (USA) during her studies strengthened her decision to become an auditor.

In 2003, she started at KPMG in Frankfurt am Main in the Audit Commercial Clients division and passed her professional examinations (StB 2005 and WP 2008) during this time.

In 2008-2013, she gained valuable experience in the field of transaction consulting as an authorised signatory at O&R Oppenhoff & Rädler AG in Frankfurt am Main: company valuations, expert opinions on balance sheet and valuation issues, tax valuations and deepened her auditor know-how.

From 2013 to 2017, she was a member of the board of Lampe & Kollegen AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, where she was responsible for annual and consolidated audits.

Since September 2017 she has been managing partner of FINEXA GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, Frankfurt am Main.

She holds a supervisory board mandate with an international software manufacturer and lectures on IFRS financial statements at the business campus. She is a member of various business associations and, of course, of the professional associations of auditors and tax consultants.
