Uwe Kaestner studied business administration at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main (1989-1994).

After graduation, he held several positions at PwC in Frankfurt am Main (1994-2009), initially in the audit department and later as a manager or senior manager in the corporate tax or transfer pricing tax department.

In 2003, written documentation requirements for transfer pricing (TP) were introduced in Germany for the first time. The diversity of this special field in international tax law fascinated him early in his career.

He gained valuable experience abroad in 2007 and 2008 during a 6-month secondment in Johannesburg/South Africa as the responsible project manager for an international master/local file TP documentation project.

After PwC several positions followed as European Tax Manager at Arrow Central Europe and at Deloitte & Touche as Senior Manager in the TP area (2010-2012).

In August 2012, Uwe Kaestner started his own business, TP-Expertise/ Inhouse Transfer Pricing Services. Since then, he has been supporting his clients, who often do not have in-house experts for this important special topic, with great commitment and the necessary "hands-on" mentality individually and in line with their needs.

Since September 2018, he has also been a cooperation Partner of FINEXA GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft.

The focus of his work is on support in current tax audits, general TP management, analysis and improvement of TP models, their practical implementation in the company and the digitalisation of TP compliance processes.
